Check Eligibility

Must have Biology in HSC. Minimum GPA: SSC 4.00 + HSC 4.00 = 8.00 combined. Separate GPA requirement for each.

Online Application — DGHS

Apply through dghs.gov.bd/medicaladmission. Fill form, upload photo, pay fee via Sonali Bank.

Tip: Only one application per student. No multiple applications allowed.

Medical Admission Test

100 MCQ questions: Biology 30, Chemistry 25, Physics 20, English 15, GK 10. 1 hour duration. Negative marking: -0.25 for wrong answers.

Tip: Biology is most important — practice from HSC textbooks.

Merit List

Result = MCQ score + (SSC GPA × 2.5 + HSC GPA × 2.5). Published on DGHS website.

Tip: Students from disadvantaged groups may get additional points.

College Choice & Allocation

Based on merit, choose preferred government medical college online.

Tip: Dhaka Medical College (DMC) is most competitive. Have backup choices ready.

Document Verification

Report to allocated college for document verification on assigned date.

Tip: Bring all original documents plus 3 attested copies of each.
